BATTERY INSPECTION
A thorough inspection will spot in a very short period of time, very likely with no need of down time if there is an issue that needs to be addressed right away or with a certain lead time. This inspection has to do mainly with the age of the batteries, its physical condition and the its environment.
BATTERY SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
Diagnostics: Besides considering aging, environment and physical conditions also has to do with an established procedure to measure battery internal conditions and capacity to respond efficiently to a charge and discharge process. If needed an actual load test might be applicable.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
There are Instances when batteries need cleaning, greasing, re-torqueing and replacement of connectors or links, that is when the maintenance service takes place. At this point GSG will do whatever is necessary to restore the battery system to its best operation condition.
BATTERY CHANGE OR REPLACEMENT
Old or defective batteries need to be replaced by new ones. If Old batteries have been discontinued or replaced by different models GSG can easily cross reference old models by a very reliable current battery which has proved reliability in the field.
BATTERY REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
Old or defective batteries need to be properly shipped and Delivered to an EPA certified recycling center, GSG makes sure that OSHA guidelines are followed when it comes to removing and disposing batteries. This service can be rendered along with other services or as a separate item.
BATTERY BACK UP TIME UPGRADE OR DOWNGRADE
There are times when a system originally designed to handle a high amount of load has a corresponding set of batteries designed for that purpose. Time passed and the load had to be downgraded two or three times the, after those changes were made there is no need for the size or amount of batteries originally installed in that situation GSG can recommend and install fewer or smaller batteries according to the case.
On the other hand the current situation of system might require a longer back-up time, in that case GSG can recommend and install more or larger batteries according to the case.
